I got stuck on 7x8 for like five minutes. Not because I don't know it's 56, but because the girl on screen had these absolutely ridiculous proportions and I kept losing focus. The whole thing is basically a flash game from 2007 that somehow survived the internet apocalypse, complete with that slightly crunchy art style where everything looks like it was drawn with a mouse. You know the one.
The math is insultingly simple. Like, 2+2 level stuff at first, then it slowly ramps up to stuff you'd see in middle school. What's weird is how the difficulty curve doesn't match the reward curve at all. The hottest pictures unlock on the easiest questions sometimes, and then you'll solve some bullshit like 144รท12 and get a picture where the girl is barely showing anything. It makes no sense. I spent way too long trying to figure out if there was a pattern before realizing I was literally analyzing a porn game's reward structure at 1 AM on a Tuesday. The sound effects are just... there's this little chime when you get an answer right that sounds exactly like the notification sound from some messaging app I used in 2012. Every time it plays I reach for my phone.
The whole "educational" angle is genuinely funny though. Like someone's mom caught them looking at hentai and they panicked and said "no mom it's for MATH" and then actually had to commit to the bit. The girls cycle through the same three or four poses with minor variations and one of them has an expression that I swear is just slightly off, like she's looking at something just past your left shoulder. It's been bothering me for days. I keep going back to check if I imagined it. I didn't.
