I thought it would be another quick parody, lazy click fodder with everyone’s favorite soldiers just standing there jabbering about destiny and Titans. But somehow this one caught me off guard - it moves like a fever dream built in Ren’Py by someone who actually both loves and mocks the source at the same time. You can almost smell the effort behind every uneven pose, the way Mikasa’s face softens in that quiet before she gives in (too easily, maybe, but that’s the genre). Historia acts brittle until she doesn’t, which fits. And Hange - whoever rigged her animation needs a raise just for catching that manic spark right when things get… sticky. There’s a moment where the music stops halfway through an awkward line read and you’re staring at the 3D model breathing faintly and you wonder if that’s meant to be erotic or just broken code. Both, maybe.

Sometimes the tone tries too hard to sound romantic and misses, especially when it slips into “isekai life lessons” talk no one asked for while you’re watching Sasha do something that has nothing to do with potatoes. I like how the lighting changes mid-scene for no clear reason though; it gives everything a cheap charm, like walking in on someone rehearsing dirty fanfic aloud. The male protagonist is generic as cement yet his body language manages to tell you what the script doesn’t dare admit: half these encounters are power fantasies pretending to be emotional arcs. Then again, Annie’s route kills that illusion halfway through - there’s tenderness hidden beneath all the mouth noise. It surprised me more than it should have, right before the next ridiculous harem scenario reset everything like memory loss porn logic always does.

What bothers me is small, stupid stuff - interface buttons that shimmer unevenly, the moan timing off by half a heartbeat, the eyes occasionally crossing during a footjob scene like some uncanny valley kink test. But maybe that’s part of why I kept watching longer than planned. The imperfection feels sincere, amateurish but warm, the way fanfiction can sometimes sound more true than the big-budget official thing.
