The poker table is this weirdly clean 3D space, like someone polished it right before the apocalypse. Mary sits across from you, red hair pulled back, that stupid mask covering half her face. The mask thing, it's the whole point right? Win 30 hands and she takes it off. Simple. The card game itself is... fine. It's poker. You know poker. The bets don't matter because losing doesn't do anything, which I discovered after going all in on a pair of threes like an absolute degenerate. Nothing. She just deals again. No penalty, no "game over," just this endless loop of Texas Hold'em with a woman who's clearly humoring you.
The striptease animations are where things get... I don't know, they're trying? Each win peels something off, and the 3D model is decent enough, but there's this stiffness to her movements that reminds me of those old Poser renders from the early 2000s. You know the ones. She'll remove her top and there's this half second pause where her arm just hangs there like the animator forgot to finish the keyframe. The sounds though, the sounds are actually pretty good. Whoever did the SFX understood that a card sliding across felt has a specific whisper to it, and the little breathy gasps when she loses a hand, those caught me off guard the first time. I was just clicking through, not really paying attention, and then this soft little moan came through my headphones and I had to check if my window was open.
The mistress dynamic is barely there, honestly. She's supposed to be in control but you're the one winning her clothes off, so the power fantasy feels backwards. Or maybe that's the point? I stopped caring around hand 15. The redhead thing is my weakness though, I'll admit that. The mask stays on way too long, and by the time you finally see her face you've played so much poker that you could probably enter a low stakes tournament. Not that you'd win. The AI folds at weird times.
