The art is... present. It’s got that specific jank where a character’s left eye is having a completely different conversation than the right one, especially during the close-ups. I spent a weird amount of time fixated on how Robin’s nose disappears at a three-quarter angle. It’s not a complaint, exactly. It’s just a thing that happened, and now I can’t unsee it.

The core loop is basically a rhythm game for people who failed music class. You click and drag on various... nautical instruments, let’s call them, and a meter fills up. There’s a particular moment with Nami and a cartography table that I wish had more frames of animation. It stutters like a flipbook dropped in a puddle, which somehow makes the whole thing more desperate. The sound design is a single looping track of what I can only describe as a saxophone being gently strangled, punctuated by moans that sound like they were recorded in a bathroom. I muted it after a minute and put on sea shanties instead, which honestly improved the vibe. The cumshot mechanic is weirdly precise, like a physics puzzle where the solution is always a mess on Robin’s glasses. She doesn’t seem to mind.

I wish there was a button to just skip to the part where Nami’s greed gets the better of her, but you have to grind through Robin’s detached archaeologist bit first.
