The sprite work in this thing, man. Terry's shoulders do this weird little twitch when Sasha talks to the buff guy at the gym, like the animator watched one too many episodes of a soap opera and just gave up on subtlety. Body language is my whole thing, right, and this game is a goldmine of accidental tells. Sasha's idle animation has her shifting weight every few seconds, which reads as nervous energy, but her dialogue says she's confident. That mismatch is either brilliant character writing or just janky rigging. Probably the second one.

You get 30 in-game days to fix the relationship meter, which starts at like 40 or something. The tutorial tells you to focus on self-improvement, not money, but then the first thing I did was grind the work minigame for three days straight because the ratio wasn't moving. Classic trap. The sex scenes unlock after you hit 100 on the ratio, and let me tell you, the wait is not worth it. The animations are stiff, the camera angles are weird, and Sasha's face during the blowjob scene looks like she's trying to remember if she left the oven on. But the build-up, the little text messages she sends when you ignore her for a day, those are weirdly compelling. One said "Terry, I saw you at the cafe. You looked sad." and I felt genuinely called out.

The dating sim mechanics are barebones. Click a location, pick a dialogue option, watch the meter tick up or down. There's a jealousy system that punishes you for checking her phone, which I did immediately because I'm nosy. The game scolded me with a red minus ten and I still don't know if that was the right call. The whole thing feels like a rough draft, but there's a moment around day 12 where Sasha laughs at one of Terry's dumb jokes and the animation actually syncs up for half a second. I rewound it three times. That half second is doing more work than the entire rest of the game.
