Right so the camera UI is basically duct tape and prayers. Half the time the zoom gets stuck and you're wrestling with the slider like it owes you money. But that's not the point. The point is getting these twelve women out of their clothes on a cruise ship that feels like a floating midlife crisis. Nick Sanders, this absolute unit of a photographer, gets sent by Playdude magazine to shoot a calendar. The whole setup is so aggressively 2005 it circles back to being charming.
The seduction minigame is basically a memory match but with horny consequences. You pick dialogue options, she reacts, the bikini stays on or comes off. It's like trying to defuse a bomb where the bomb is just a lady who wants another piña colada. There's this one redhead, forgot her name, who keeps talking about her ex husband while you're trying to angle the lens. Peak comedy honestly. The nude shoots themselves are these static scenes where you click around to adjust poses. Sometimes the hitboxes for removing clothing are like three pixels wide. I spent a solid minute trying to untie a sarong that apparently didn't exist. The game just let me keep clicking. No error sound, no nothing. Just me and my failure.
The whole thing runs in browser so it chugs like a dying laptop fan if you have more than two tabs open. The sound design is just stock ocean waves and a saxophone loop that will haunt my dreams. But the character art has this weirdly specific charm. The models aren't these perfect dolls, they've got tan lines and awkward smiles. Feels like a real vacation hookup where everyone's a little too sunburned. The photographer guy says the dumbest shit too, half his compliments sound like they were translated through three languages. "Your body is like a beautiful landscape of woman." What does that even mean. I love it. No idea what happens after you get all twelve shots because I'm stuck on number nine. She keeps mentioning her boyfriend and I think I softlocked the conversation tree. Classic.
