Kelly has this way of looking at you from the rental counter that makes you forget you even wanted to snowboard. The whole setup is so simple, just a bet about who's better on the slopes, but the slopes are barely the point. It's a minigame, a really basic one where you dodge trees and rocks. I kept crashing on purpose just to see her reaction. The animation is stiff, like someone learned to draw yesterday and decided to make a whole game about it. Her hair doesn't move right when she talks, it just sort of sits there, a solid block of brown. But her eyes, man. They follow you in a way that's almost uncomfortable.
The sex adventure part unlocks after you win or lose, I can't remember which because I was clicking through dialogue so fast. There's this one scene in a cabin where the firelight flickers on her skin and for a second I forgot I was playing something that looks like a Flash project from 2006. The sound cuts out randomly. Not like a glitch, more like the game just decides it's done with audio for a bit. You'll be mid conversation and suddenly it's just silence and her mouth moving. It's jarring but also kind of funny. I laughed out loud twice, not at jokes the game made, but at the game itself.
The fucktown tag is misleading. There's no town. It's a mountain, a rental shop, a cabin. That's it. I spent way too long trying to click on background characters that aren't actually characters, just smudges of color. The christmas theme is there in the snow and a sad little wreath on the door. No music, no bells. Just the crunch of snow under your board that loops every three seconds. I don't know why I kept playing. Maybe because Kelly's voice lines, when they actually play, have this breathy quality that got under my skin. She says "you're not so bad yourself" and the delivery is so flat it circles back around to being hot. I'm still thinking about it. The game crashed when I tried to replay the final scene and I didn't even bother reloading. Some things you only need to see once.
