The first thing that hits you isn't the game. It's her voice. Jennifer Nexus has this breathy, almost bored delivery that somehow makes losing at shifumi feel like a personal failure. Not the usual overacted moaning you get in these things, more like she's humoring you while scrolling through her phone. I spent way too long just losing on purpose to hear the little disappointed sighs. The audio mixing is weird though, sometimes her voice clips at the edges like someone recorded it on their phone in a bathroom.

Gameplay is rock paper scissors. You know this. What you don't know is how frustrating it is when the RNG decides you're not seeing those tits today. I had a streak of seven losses and I swear Jennifer's pixelated smirk got wider each time. The striptease mechanic is simple, win a round, she removes something. But here's the thing nobody mentions, the pacing is completely off. You'll get her down to underwear and then suddenly she becomes a shifumi grandmaster. Like the algorithm smells your desperation.
