I downloaded this mess on a whim after getting stood up. again. third time this month. the download bar crawled and I just sat there thinking about how Lilith is probably gonna reject me in the game too. because that's my life. at least the download finished.

the first thing that hit me was the voice clips. three new ones apparently. one of them is this elf chick making sounds that made me forget my own name for a second. I replayed that one clip like fifteen times. the art looks like someone sketched it on a napkin during a boring meeting but honestly? the roughness kinda works when tentacles are involved. it makes everything feel dirtier. more desperate. there's this tentacle encyclopedia now and let me tell you my brain chemistry altered when I read the lore for the starting species. I can't explain why I care so much about the biology of fuck-tentacles but here we are.

the rest function is fully implemented which is nice because apparently the world map is where this version cuts off. right when things were getting interesting. the map function is just there. taunting me. six new enemy territories and I can't touch any of them. I spent way too long building my army inventory. you can hold any amount of units now. I had this whole strategy planned. scouting reports came back. intelligence gathered. I was ready to invade and then. nothing. the birth event is in there but without graphics so it's just text describing the thing. feels like getting edged for six hours and then the person just leaves. which I guess is also my life.

oh and you can steal Lilith's heart apparently. I haven't managed it. shocking. the real-time battles are actually decent though. I got my ass handed to me because I was too busy reading diary entries that are half finished. the whole game feels half finished. kinda like my last relationship. the tentacle sex is hot in a "I need therapy" way and the strategic layer made me forget I was supposed to be crying into my pillow tonight.
