The first time the blonde demon thing shows up, it's just a flash in the corner of the screen and I nearly missed it because I was too busy clicking on a fucking tree stump for the fifth time. This game doesn't hold your hand. You're lost in the woods, there's some pixel-hunting bullshit with the Tab key highlighting objects, and the whole thing feels like it was coded in a weekend by someone who really, really wanted you to suffer through the bad ending before you even knew there was a good one.

The POV perspective during the sex scenes is... look, it's janky as hell but that's the point. When the Huldra finally corners you, the animation stutters like a broken GIF and somehow that makes the assfuck sequence more unsettling than anything polished could. The sound design is basically nonexistent except for this one wet noise that loops during the demon scenes and I can't tell if it's intentional or a bug but it lives in my head now. The horror elements are genuinely effective in a way that feels accidental, like the developer stumbled into atmosphere while trying to make something you'd find on a forgotten Newgrounds page from 2007.

The quest mechanics are barebones. Click object, trigger scene, repeat. But there's this one moment where you find a rusted key and if you use it wrong, the maniac just... appears. No warning. No buildup. Just suddenly there, and then the thriller aspects kick in and you're scrambling to figure out what the hell the game wants from you. I wish there was more variety in the demon encounters because after the third time, the shock wears off and you're just going through the motions. The good ending requires some cryptic bullshit with item order that I had to look up on a forum where the only other post was someone asking about a completely different game. The whole thing feels like a fever dream I had after watching too much analog horror, and I mean that as both a compliment and a warning.
