Janky as hell and proud of it, Tentacles Thrive drops you into this messy, half-baked world where nothing quite works right and somehow that's the whole vibe. Sex scenes hit with that rough, unpolished animation style, tentacles wrapping around bodies in this frantic, almost desperate way, pantyhose tearing and fluids going everywhere. The interspecies stuff gets explicit fast, no buildup sometimes, just straight to hard pounding with creatures that look like they were sketched on a napkin during lunch.

Dubois bonding events caught me off guard. Actually spent way too long on those, clicking through dialogue that's barely coherent while the real-time battles chug along in the background. The Lv and RP animations, the little pulsing bars they added in v2.10, like someone said "hey this needs more juice" and just threw in flashy UI stuff instead of fixing the core systems still marked under development. Strategic battles could be fun if the pacing wasn't so weird, one moment you're managing some resource, halfway through a thought about reviving the Humana race, then bam, you're in a fight, then the game just stops at the world map like hitting a wall.

Knowledge sections in the Diary, okay sure, but why do I care about encyclopedia entries when the whole thing feels like it's held together with tape? That ending showcase preview, showing off progress like some kind of promise. Species creation mechanic, breeding new tentacles through mate combinations, fucking to unlock new forms, oral scenes that don't pull punches. Lilith's heart stealing subplot buried somewhere between the rough sex loops and managing whatever the Humana race is supposed to be. Thing is I kept clicking, kept coming back to this broken, horny mess, and that probably says something about me more than the game.
