It’s weird how this one got under my skin. I opened it thinking it’d be just another lazy merge thing with anime faces slapped on top, the kind of stuff you scroll past while half-watching YouTube. But then I got stuck. The rhythm of it - drag, fuse, wait, peek - feels almost meditative, like folding paper cranes that keep turning into half-naked demons. The HQ you build doesn’t even look that great, kind of messy, but maybe that’s why I liked it. It feels lived in, like someone’s dirty secret drawer. The reward scenes… yeah, they hit. Not in a classy way, more like a guilty smirk kind of way. I swear I told myself “just one more merge” and then forgot what I was merging for. The logic part sneaks up on you - I actually caught myself planning out combos like it mattered. It doesn’t. But it does. You know?

I keep thinking about that one scene with Kanao, the one that unlocks after you accidentally grind too long on the wrong branch. It’s not even the hottest one, but it’s the one that made me laugh because it’s so unnecessarily dramatic. She looks at you like she knows you’ve been wasting time, and you kinda deserve it. The humor feels unintentional, but that’s the charm. Nezuko’s part is more straightforward - soft colors, teasing glances, all that - but I weirdly wanted more of Shinobu’s smug little smirk moments. Maybe because she feels like the game itself: pretending to be all logic and structure, then suddenly dropping something filthy with zero warning. I wish the sound effects were less crunchy though. They pop out like someone chewing chips in a quiet room. Still, I didn’t mute it. Guess I liked the awkwardness.

And yeah, I might’ve cursed at it once when I lost progress, but then I went right back. It’s like a bad relationship that texts you “u up?” and you answer anyway. I can’t even tell if I enjoyed it or if it just hypnotized me with its stupid little tiles. Probably both. Whatever. I’ll open it again tomorrow.
