The art for the scenes is where the game drops the polite act. You get that first tame image, a little teasing, almost like a fanservice shot. Then it ramps. There were moments where I was muttering “ok, but let me fuckin see Shinobu already” while moving another pair of ugly small huts out of the way. The pacing of unlocks is mostly nice, but once or twice it stretches that gap just a bit too long, and you notice you’re not touching your dick, you’re just playing a puzzle game about horny ghost buildings. I kind of wanted one extra little mechanic, like a risk/reward button that lets you sacrifice a half-built chain to instantly reveal a blurred teaser. Or some special HQ upgrade that gives you an alternate sex scene version of the same girl, like “normal training” vs “punishment round” or maybe a drunk late-night scene where Nezuko is sitting in Tanjirou’s lap, kimono slipping off her shoulders, his hand under the fabric while she bites his neck instead of the bamboo. The funny part is I’m pretty sure if they added more stuff I’d still complain that the merge grid is too small, even if it’s totally fine. That one stupid tiny building that never lines up where you want it? I hate it. I still merged it, though.
