Con-Quest is one of those horny little con-floor fantasies that somehow escaped a sticky notebook and turned into an actual game. It throws you in the middle of a chaotic anime convention that went completely to shit because real magic started leaking into all the dumb cosplay. Half the girls are possessed, corrupted, hypnotized, or just horny on main, and you’re running around in a wizard robe trying to “purify” them by beating them in silly RPG battles and then helping them out of their way-too-tight outfits. Or into new ones. Mostly that. The tone is this mix of dumb pervy humor and surprisingly sweet moments, like you’re playing an ecchi anime that knows exactly what it is and doesn’t pretend otherwise. One second you’re laughing at a stupid pun, next second there’s a girl in a torn magical girl costume with her boobs half out calling you senpai while you fiddle the menu with one hand. Classic browser tab behavior.
Combat is simple on purpose, like those old Flash RPGs where you actually read the jokes instead of min-maxing spreadsheets. You wander around the con halls, smack some corrupted cosplayers with spells that sound like someone wrote them at 4 in the morning after too much hentai and Monster, and then when you “save” them, they thank you in gloriously perverted ways. Not always directly sexual in the scene, but the art absolutely knows what your brain is doing. There’s that moment when you finally beat a smug demon cosplayer, she drops the act, blushes, then you unlock a lewd pinup of her pressed up against a locker with her costume half peeled off and this “ok fine, you win” energy. Screenshotted it. Sent it to a friend on Discord. Regret nothing. Also, the whole con vibe works way better than it has any right to: cardboard props, trashy booths, awkward nerds and then boom, girl in a skimpy armor bikini shooting fireballs from her tits. Happens.
The best part is how stupidly aware the game is of itself. It keeps clowning on otaku culture and hentai tropes while still leaning into all of them. You get girls dressed as wizards, catgirls, random parody heroines, a few that are definitely “lawyer-friendly versions” of famous waifus, and the story just shrugs and goes “yeah whatever, she’s cursed now, hit it with magic and see what happens.” There’s that scene where you walk into a panel room expecting some serious lore and instead find a goth witch cosplayer arguing with a slime girl about who has the sexier costume, then they both turn on you like “judge us.” And you do. Thoroughly. The art has that messy horny energy that feels drawn by a real person who’s into this stuff, not corporate template trash. Boobs aren’t copy-pasted; faces actually change expressions; some of the outfits look like something you’d actually see at a bad con and others are straight out of “no way that stays on in real life” fantasy. Sometimes the pacing is weird, you’ll backtrack five times because you forgot which hallway had the cursed bunny girl, and the UI occasionally makes you click twice when it should be once and it drives me insane and then I forget about it because oh look, new magical bondage cosplay scene unlocked. It’s dirty, it’s dorky, and it feels like someone condensed a horny weekend convention brain into a little RPG and dared you to keep a straight face.
