The first time I played Amanda's Temptation I closed the browser tab after ten minutes. Not because it was bad but because the art hit me wrong. Those 2dcg drawings of Amanda, this late 20s teacher with her hair always slipping out of a bun, they look unfinished. Like someone colored a sketch and decided yeah good enough. But something about her expression during the first teasing scene with her friend made me reopen it later. The way the artist draws her half lidded eyes when she gets flustered. I dunno.

The whole thing runs on choices that push Amanda toward romance or corruption. Her best friend keeps poking at her about being single, and depending on what you pick, Amanda either starts exploring her sexuality in this sweet, nervous way or slides into something messier. The masturbation scenes are where the rough art actually works. There's one early on where she's just touched herself for maybe the first time in months, and the unfinished quality makes it feel private somehow. Like you're seeing something you shouldn't. The romance path has these genuinely warm moments, her and a male colleague grading papers together, his hand accidentally brushing hers, and then the scene cuts to her in bed later replaying it.

But the corruption route. That's where the teasing tag earns its place. Her friend starts pushing her toward riskier choices, and the game gets mean in a way I didn't expect. I kept waiting for a redemption beat that never comes if you go too far. There's a scene with a parent teacher conference that made me actually uncomfortable, which I guess is the point, but the game never really deals with the fallout. It just keeps going.

The romance scenes have this weird thing where the dialogue is better than the art. Amanda's internal monologue during intimate moments sounds like someone who's thought about this a lot but never said it out loud. But then a cg will pop up and her proportions are slightly wrong and it kills the mood. I wish the corruption path had more consequences beyond just more explicit scenes. The game hints at her reputation mattering but drops it.

You'll finish it in one sitting and maybe replay to see both paths. Or maybe not. The friend character gets too much screen time for someone who's basically just a plot device. Her teasing becomes repetitive by the third scene but she's in like seven more after that. I kept wanting Amanda to just tell her to fuck off, but that choice never appears.
