The title screen is a mess. Fonts don't match, the wife's sprite has this weird dead eye thing going on, and the music loops after like twelve seconds. I almost closed the tab right there. But then the first scene hits and it's just... her, in the kitchen, talking to herself about how lonely she is while her husband's startup is blowing up. The writing is broken english, full of typos, but somehow it lands. She says "he not see me anymore" and I felt that in my gut more than I should.

The employee character shows up and immediately the whole thing becomes this slow motion car crash. You can pick dialogue options that are basically "be professional" or "accidentally brush against her when reaching for the coffee" and the game doesn't judge you. It just lets the tension build. There's a scene where the wife is on the couch, husband's working late again, and the employee sits just a little too close. The animation is janky, her hand clips through the cushion, but the voice acting (if you can call it that, it's clearly someone's laptop mic) has this breathy quality that made me forget the technical disaster for a second.

What kills me is the husband character. He's not a villain. He's just... absent. You see him in these little cutscenes, stressed about servers or whatever, and he genuinely loves her. He just doesn't get it. And the game never lets you forget that. Even when things escalate, when the employee's hand finds her thigh under the dinner table, there's this nagging feeling of "this is fucked up." The sex scenes are explicit, sure, but they're also sad. The wife cries after the first one. Not sobbing, just silent tears while the employee sleeps. I don't know if that was intentional or if the sprite just glitched, but it worked.

I wish the choices mattered more. They don't. The ending is basically the same no matter what you do, which is bullshit. But I kept replaying anyway, trying to find some path where the husband notices, where someone says something. Never happens. The game just lets the marriage rot while you watch.
