The whole thing feels like someone's half finished RPG Maker project got possessed by a horny ghost, and I mean that as a compliment. Mostly. You're in this cave, Fumerole Cave, and there's a demon girl. That's it. That's the setup. No sprawling lore, no inventory management that makes you want to die, just you, some rough stone walls, and her. The crimson keep tag is there but don't expect a castle, it's more of a vibe, a color palette that stains the edges of the screen like old blood.
The POV stuff is where it gets interesting. It's not just a camera angle, it's a whole attitude. You're looking at her, she's looking at you, and the text boxes feel less like dialogue and more like someone's intrusive thoughts spilling out. The writing has this weird, stilted poetry to it, like a non native speaker trying to describe something incredibly filthy using only a thesaurus and sheer determination. There's a moment where she just... stares, and the description of her eyes is so over the top I laughed, then immediately felt weird about laughing because the next line was pure, uncut demon sex. The whiplash is the point, I think.
The RPG like mechanics are barely there. You click, things progress. It's a visual novel wearing a stat screen as a hat. I spent an embarrassing amount of time just clicking on a stalagmite in the background because the cursor changed, and nothing happened. Nothing. I'm still mad about it. Why make it interactive if it does nothing? The introspurt tag is accurate, the whole thing feels like a fever dream you'd have after falling asleep reading a very specific kind of webcomic. The demon sex isn't just a scene, it's the entire language of the game. Every conversation loops back to it, every description is drenched in it. It's not a game you play, it's a game that happens to you, and you're just along for the ride while it mutters obscenities in your ear.
