That’s the opening mood of Double Home Work 5, and it hits different when you’re just trying to find one person while everyone else acts like you’ve got the plague. Then Morgan shows up on the school grounds drinking wine straight from the bottle, and suddenly you’re hearing about her juvenile jail stint for bank robbery. She feels guilty, I feel guilty about those twelve skiers, and we’re just two messed up people vibing over bad choices. The writing actually makes you care about these trainwrecks, which is weird for a game that’s mostly about getting your dick wet.

The CGs are the real draw here, obviously. Miss Walsh naked? Yeah, Dennis whips out nude pics of her, Lauren, and Rachel like it’s show and tell, and I’m not gonna lie, I stared at Miss Walsh longer than the others. She’s got that teacher authority thing going on, and the art leans into it hard. Redhead, tight body, the kind of expression that says she knows exactly what she’s doing. The choice system is basic but it works, you pick who to pursue and the scenes branch from there. My one gripe? The dialogue sometimes repeats itself when you reload a choice, like the game forgets you already heard Morgan’s sob story. Small thing but it breaks the flow.

Anyway, Tamara and I finally track Johanna down at my apartment, and she’s fine, which is a relief. But then Dennis sets up a date with Miss Walsh in exchange for some favor he won’t explain yet. That’s the cliffhanger, and I’m already annoyed I have to wait for episode six. The teen student dynamic is there, the teacher fantasy is there, and the relationship stuff with Johanna feels more grounded than you’d expect from a hentai VN. If you’re into slow burn corruption arcs with actual plot between the sex scenes, this one scratches that itch. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand through the weird tonal shifts.
