Finding Miranda is basically a slow burn where you're Lucas, this programmer guy whose life is falling apart after his wife Karen left. The apartment feels empty, the job's on the line, and you're just trying to hold shit together. What got me was how the game doesn't rush into the lewd stuff. First few scenes are just... sad. You're eating alone, staring at your phone, wondering where everything went wrong. Then Miranda shows up and things get complicated.
The CG hentai scenes are worth the grind if you're a completionist like me. There's this one route where you mess up at work and come home stressed, and Miranda's just there on the couch wearing one of Karen's old shirts. The way the art handles that moment, her expression shifting from concern to something else, it hits different than most VNs. I spent way too long trying to unlock every variation of the married flashback scenes. Karen's scenes are hotter than Miranda's honestly, which is weird because she's the ex. The choice system can be frustrating though. Miss one dialogue option early on and you're locked out of an entire branch. I had to replay three times to get the scene where Lucas finally breaks down in the bathroom. Wish the game remembered your previous choices better instead of making you click through the same text walls.
The story gets messy in the middle, like the writer couldn't decide if this is about redemption or just giving up. Some choices feel like they should matter but don't. The Miranda character sometimes acts completely different between scenes and it's jarring. But then you hit a CG where she's looking at you with this mix of pity and want, and suddenly you don't care about consistency anymore. The game knows what it's selling even when the plot wobbles.
