Ghost porn and cheap halloween vibes is one of my favorite combos, so this thing hooked me pretty fast. You’re not just clicking through some boring haunted mansion script, you’re basically babysitting a bunch of horny, half‑competent ghost hunters while they try to look professional for Gabe’s show and constantly get distracted by weird supernatural thirst. It feels like somebody mixed a trashy ghost-hunting TV show from Discovery+ with a pervy VN dev jam and then shoved a sarcastic redhead into the center of it and told her, “yeah, you’re the only adult in the room now, good luck.” The “preliminary investigations” are just an excuse to throw you into small scenes where you choose how your crew reacts to spooky shit, and most of the time it ends with someone turned on instead of scared. First run, I tried to play it straight and keep the team actually doing their job, and it sort of works, but the game clearly enjoys it more when you lean into the horny chaos and push them toward bad decisions: flirting with invisible presences, using “spirit communication” as excuse to strip down, pretending it’s for the camera. The tone dances between legit creepy and stupidly funny. One moment you get that horror tingle, next moment the redhead is arguing with a sulky ghost like it’s her ex who still has the keys to the apartment, then two clicks later the ghost is whispering filth in her ear and the only thing still serious is your dick. Or clit. Whatever, the game doesn’t care, it just keeps piling tension.

What I really liked is how the choices mess with the mood, not just the outcome. I had one scene in a shitty abandoned motel where I tried being “respectful researcher” type, logging EMF readings and stuff, then I picked one horny dialogue option just to see, and the whole energy of the scene flipped. The ghost got bolder, the text pacing slowed down, the descriptions of touches and breath got more detailed, and suddenly the camera focus for the show turns into “let’s see how far she’ll go before she forgets the crew is even there.” You can be playful, you can be reckless, you can outright provoke the haunting just to squeeze another obscene reaction out of it. The redhead MC is written like someone who is smart enough to know this is all terrible idea and still says “fuck it” because the thrill feels too good. That hits very close to home. By the way, whoever decided the humor should be half dry and half gutter did a good job. Some of the best bits are tiny: like a throwaway line about the sound guy quietly turning up the mic when things start getting moany, or the way Gabe’s messages pop up like he’s more worried about ratings than her safety. There’s this one investigation where you can either calm the entity or kind of emotionally bully it into showing itself, and if you pick the nasty, horny route, the “horror” turns weirdly intimate, like a toxic hookup with someone who can literally phase through walls. It’s hot, but also a little wrong, and that friction is what makes me come back to a scene, replay it with different tone. I still don’t like that one specific UI sound when you confirm a choice, feels like a toy from a cheap kids halloween app and it weirdly snaps me out of the mood every time, but whatever, the rest of the game just drags me straight back into this dirty, haunted TV show where everyone pretends it’s about ghosts and absolutely nobody is fooled.
