You know that feeling when you find a weird indie game that's clearly made by someone with a very specific vision and they just went for it? Heated Hashtag is that. It's a kinetic novel so you're just clicking through, no choices, which normally I'd bitch about but honestly the whole thing moves at such a breakneck pace you barely notice. The AI art is... there. Sometimes it's surprisingly coherent, other times a character's hand looks like a melted candle and you just have to accept that as part of the experience.
The juiciest scene, and I mean the one that made me put my phone down for a sec, involves this monster girl with hips that defy physics and the protagonist just going to town in a public park while some rando watches from behind a tree. The voyeurism angle is played so straight it loops back around to being hilarious. She's riding him reverse cowgirl, her massive ass practically swallowing the screen, and the whole time the narration is dead serious about the "sizzling connection" they're forming. Meanwhile I'm sitting there thinking about how uncomfortable that park bench must be. Splinters, man. Nobody considers the splinters.
The OnlyGram framing device is basically just an excuse to string together exhibitionist scenarios, which, fair enough. You got your standard college setting, your interracial hookups, a titfuck scene that goes on for what feels like an eternity in the best way. There's this one moment with a sex toy that made me laugh out loud because the AI generated something that looked more like a sci-fi prop than anything you'd find in a nightstand drawer. I wish the anal scenes had more buildup but that's just me being picky. The creampie finishes are abundant, if that's your thing. It's definitely this game's thing. The swinging subplot comes out of nowhere and then disappears just as fast, like the writer remembered they had that tag and needed to tick a box. Whatever. It works.
