so the whole thing is a blackjack game but not really. you catch stars falling from the sky, like some weird arcade claw machine fever dream, and those stars become your cards. i spent way too long just watching the pole dancer in the background, this real model type who moves like she knows exactly what you're doing. the catching mechanic is janky as hell, the hitbox feels like it was designed by someone who hates fingers, and honestly that's part of the charm. or maybe it's just bad. i can't decide.
the stripping happens when you win hands, obviously, but the blackjack itself is barebones. no splitting, no doubling down, just hit or stand like you're playing at a bus stop. the dealer busts way too often, which i guess is good for the whole seeing skin thing, but it makes the card game feel like an afterthought. and maybe it is. the star catching minigame is where the real action is, dodging those stupid slow stars while trying to grab the fast ones, your hand cramping up because the sensitivity is set to nightmare mode. there's this one animation where she does a spin on the pole and the lighting hits just right and i forgot i was supposed to be catching anything.
the audio is just stock sensual sfx, the kind you'd find in some forgotten sample pack from 2007, little moans and gasps that loop awkwardly. it's almost comical but also, you know, does the job. the whole thing feels like someone took three different game ideas and mashed them together without asking if they should. the arcade catcher part wants to be one thing, the blackjack another, and the striptease is just there being the reason anyone clicks play. i kept playing longer than i meant to, not because it's good but because there's something hypnotic about failing to catch a star and still winning the hand anyway. the dealer must be in on it.
