The uncle character is a fucking mess and I think that's the point. He used to run this whole operation, cafe and hostel, and now he's just... there. Retired. Sold everything. The game starts with you in his house and he's basically a ghost of his former self, which I guess is supposed to motivate you to hustle but honestly it just made me feel weird. Like visiting a relative who peaked in 2007 and now just watches TV all day. The whole European town setting feels grimy in a way that works, not the postcard version but the back alley version where you're counting coins for a beer.

The choice system is where things get sticky. You're trying to sc*** together cash and the game throws these dialogue options at you that feel genuinely scummy sometimes. There's this one girl who works at a bakery and the "right" path to get with her involves lying about your situation. I picked it. I felt bad. Then I reloaded and picked it again because the CG was worth it. The art style is that particular kind of hentai where everyone looks slightly too glossy, like they're perpetually sweating, which I'm into but also find distracting during serious scenes. You'll be having a heartfelt conversation and her tits are just... glistening.

The travel aspect is barely there honestly. You're in one town. It's not like you're backpacking across Europe, you're stuck in this one place with your washed up uncle and a bunch of girls who have very specific sexual availability triggers. I spent twenty minutes trying to figure out how to get the pot dealer girl to notice me and it turned out I needed to fail a different hustle first. The game doesn't tell you that. It just expects you to be a fuckup in the right order. That's either brilliant design or complete bullshit, I still can't decide. The vacation tag is misleading too, this is not a vacation, this is survival with occasional sex scenes that are actually pretty hot when you finally unlock them. The wait makes it better somehow.
