I don't know who decided blackjack needed a pachinko mechanic but that person was either a genius or completely unhinged. You got this J shaped rail thing, right, and you're dropping balls down it like some kind of deranged plinko setup, trying to hit numbers that add up to 21. Meanwhile some blonde real model type is standing there in this arcade fever dream waiting to lose her clothes. The whole concept feels like someone described two completely different games while high and the developer just nodded and coded both at once.
The ball physics are janky as hell honestly. Sometimes the ball does exactly what you want, other times it bounces off the target like it has a personal grudge against you. I spent way too long stuck on 19, just watching balls miss by pixels while this woman gives me that look. You know the one. Like she's bored but also somehow disappointed in your entire existence. The strip animations when you actually win a hand are pretty decent though, smooth enough that you almost forget you're playing what amounts to gambling plinko with extra steps. Almost.
The real model thing is weirdly compelling. She's not some overdesigned anime character with impossible proportions, just an actual person who probably did a photoshoot and now exists forever in this bizarre card game purgatory. There's something almost surreal about winning a blackjack hand and watching a real human woman's clothes disappear because a metal ball hit the right number. The whole experience feels like a fever dream you'd have after falling asleep watching casino documentaries. I can't tell if the arcade elements make the blackjack better or worse but I kept playing anyway so I guess that's your answer.
