You ever click through a VN thinking you're the one in control then some monstergirl librarian with tentacles for hair just... owns you? That's Library Desires for you. It lures you in with this whole mystery vibe, books and secrets, the usual. Then it starts peeling back layers you didn't ask for but also absolutely did. The AI cg is rough around the edges, like someone fed midjourney a bunch of horny prompts and forgot to clean up the fingers. Not complaining. It adds to the whole fever dream quality.

Picked the "confident" path first because obviously. Ended up in a scene where I'm meant to be dominating the situation but the dialogue tree just... loops? Like I'm choosing "grab her" and it cycles back to the same three options almost like the game itself is edging me. Which, considering the NTR tag is floating around in there, might be intentional. The harem element is weirdly structured too. You don't build it, you sort of stumble into it while trying to figure out why the library keeps shifting rooms. One minute you're solving some cryptic book puzzle the next a slime girl is whispering about your "essence" and the screen does that animated shimmer thing. Felt my brain short circuit a little.

The male domination tags are there but honestly the monstergirls have the upper hand most of the time. You think you're making a choice and then the text describes your character being groped under a reading table while you desperately click to keep quiet. The mystery plot is actually decent though. Some real "wait what" moments when you find certain documents. Wish the secret routes were less of a pain to unlock. Had to replay the damn library orientation like four times. Four. The teasing is relentless and half the time the animations feel like they're mocking you personally. Dare to play it alone, or invite company?
