The whole thing feels like someone took a spreadsheet and accidentally spilled horny all over it. You're running a brothel, right, but the real game is juggling Bernadette's attitude. She's your secretary, a blonde with resting bitch face and a clipboard, and honestly I spent more time trying to figure out her mood swings than managing the actual girls. The inventory system is a mess. I had three bottles of cheap perfume and a rusty knife for like, an in-game week, and no clear idea what to do with them. Then some gang member kicks the door in and suddenly it's a fighting minigame. The combat is janky as hell, your guy moves like he's wading through soup, but landing a punch has this crunchy sound effect that's weirdly satisfying.
The map exploration is where things get properly unhinged. You wander around this pixelated town and stumble into dating sim territory with zero warning. One minute you're buying supplies, next you're in a full conversation tree with a girl who might join your roster. The dialogue reads like it was translated through three different languages and then proofread by a horny AI. "Your eyes are like stars that make my heart do the boom boom." I'm not making that up. But somehow, that jank is the charm. It's so earnest in its messiness that you can't help but click the next option.
The explicit stuff is... there. It's functional. The scenes unlock in this weirdly paced drip feed, and the blonde secretary's route is locked behind some obscure business milestone I still haven't hit. I keep getting distracted by the fighting. The gang members respawn too fast, and once you aggro them they just keep coming, which is annoying when you're trying to check on your inventory of, I don't know, scented candles or whatever. The whole thing is a fever dream of mismatched mechanics. I'd pay for a DLC that just lets me fire Bernadette and run the place with the fighting system alone. Or a DLC that explains what the perfume actually does. I still don't know.
