The first time you fuck your sister in this thing, she's bent over a marble altar with torchlight making her skin look like honey. Caligula just stands there watching, that smug prick, and the whole scene feels wrong in exactly the right way. The AI generated faces have that uncanny valley gloss where everyone looks like they're wearing someone else's skin stretched too tight. But the bodies? Whoever did the asset work on the female models knew what they were doing. There's this one courtesan with breasts that actually hang with proper weight physics when she rides you, and I spent way too long just rotating the camera during that scene instead of progressing the damn story.

The game calls itself a period drama but it's really just an excuse to string together increasingly depraved sex scenes with Roman aesthetics slapped on top. You play as some advisor to Caligula, guiding him through his reign, which mostly means deciding who gets degraded next. The historical accuracy is laughable. At one point there's a threesome in the Senate chambers and I'm pretty sure that never happened. Or maybe it did, I don't know, Roman emperors were freaks. The exhibitionism scenes are where it shines though. Making a virgin noblewoman perform oral in front of the entire court while her father watches. The male domination angle gets pushed hard, sometimes too hard where it stops being hot and just becomes mechanical. Click through dialogue, watch the scene, repeat.

Sound design is nonexistent basically. Just some generic moaning loops that don't sync with the action half the time. The voice acting, if you can call it that, sounds like someone recorded themselves in a bathroom with their phone. But the corruption arc for the female characters has this slow burn quality that kept me clicking. Watching the innocent ones gradually break down, the subtle changes in their expressions between scenes. The AI CG stuff gets weird sometimes with hands and eyes but when it works, it really works. That titfuck scene with the empress in the bathhouse. Jesus. The water effects glitching out almost ruined it but the positioning was perfect. I keep going back to fix the texture mapping on some of these models because the potential is there, buried under the jank.
