The sprite work in Open Bar is a goddamn mess and I can't stop looking at it. 2B's idle animation has this weird hitch, like she's about to trip over her own heels but catches herself at the last second. Her shoulders don't quite rotate right when she leans forward. It's the kind of jank that somehow makes the whole thing feel more intimate, like you're watching someone's first attempt at motion capture done in a basement at 4 AM. The facial expressions are what get me though. That blank Nier automata stare she has in the original game? Here it shifts into something else entirely when the bartender starts talking. Micro-expressions. A slight eyebrow raise. The corner of her mouth twitching. I've spent way too long studying how her lips part just before the scene transitions.

The bar setting is basically a backdrop, don't expect to explore or anything. You click, things happen, 2B ends up bent over the counter. The anal penetration sequences are surprisingly deliberate.
