The whole thing feels like someone started making a game, got distracted halfway through, and then just... uploaded it. And I mean that as a compliment, sort of. The art is rough, like really rough, but there's this one scene with a Demorai parasite attaching itself that has no right being as hot as it is given how janky the animation is. The black sludge creeping up the character's thigh, the way the interface just gives up trying to be helpful. Chef's kiss.

You're this doomed soldier from Alderay, sent on a suicide mission, and surprise, you don't die. Instead you get cursed with something that's slowly taking over your body. Standard fantasy kingdom stuff, except the curse is horny. Like, aggressively horny. There's a corruption meter I think? It goes up when you do certain things but honestly I stopped paying attention to the numbers after the third tentacle encounter in the Mirnos swamps. The sandbox part means you can wander around getting into trouble, and the trouble is mostly of the "what's that thing doing to that person" variety.

The dialogue is translated from something, probably, because characters will say the most unhinged shit with a completely straight face. "Your flesh will serve the Demorai" delivered like someone reading a grocery list. It's perfect. The accessibility is a nightmare though, no colorblind options, text that blends into backgrounds, and the hitboxes for clicking on things are microscopic. I spent ten minutes trying to interact with a glowing mushroom that turned out to be just scenery. Not a sex mushroom. Just a mushroom. The kingdom of Alderay apparently has very detailed fungal biodiversity and no one thought to make it clickable.
