Strip Business Poker, they call it. Or I call it that. The title is just a jumble of words in my browser. Last time with this rich guy in his limousine was a total bust, he didn't give me money for my startup. Classic. Now he's back and this time the deal is real, but the poker is... open? All cards visible, his, mine, the deck. It's weirdly stressful to see everything. You have five turns to discard and try to make a better hand than him, but you see his hand too, so you know if he's basically holding a royal flush on turn one and you're completely screwed.
The real model is a blonde in lingerie. That's the "goal". Not the funding, who cares about imaginary business money. Seeing her strip. And the game is not polished at all, okay? It looks like a PowerPoint slide that someone spilled code onto. The buttons for "stand" and "discard" are just... there. Sometimes I'd mis-click like crazy and want to throw my mouse, it's so finicky. That "stand" mechanic is a trap, I tell you. You hit it thinking you have a straight, the businessman somehow has a flush from nowhere, and you lose a level. Down goes your business, and miraculously her clothes come back on. It's like a moral punishment.
The sound is non-existent, just pure clicking on weirdly small card graphics. I got to the third level and she took off her top, and the model just freezes there, this grainy video loop of a woman smiling awkwardly. It's so janky it wraps back around to being something. What player gets the most from this? Someone who loves the friction of a frustrating UI almost as much as the taboo of a striptease poker game against a cheater. Because that businessman definitely cheats. I saw him get an ace out of nowhere. I know what I saw.
