Bro i can't, the battle screen just melted my brain for a sec. There's a Pussymon called something like a bipedal lioness with flames for a mane and you initiate a catch sequence and it's just... the sprite turns around and bends over, pixel art glistening with a level of detail that's frankly way too much for a supposed monster capture rpg. I sat there clicking the same berry item five times just to see the animation loop. My phone almost slipped out of my hand from the grease. The dev says the story was rushed this update but honestly who is here for the dialogue about some weird prophecy on an island. That's not a real complaint.

The game is basically a fever dream stitched together in RPG Maker where you island hop, do quests for these flirty NPCs like Valentina or Bridget, and beat up wild creatures. The twist and we all know the twist is that after a fight instead of just fainting the Pussymon get very... compliant. 26 new animations added, I noticed especially with the slime types. The way the slime girl jiggles in the victory screen looks like a water balloon fighting for its life inside a ziplock bag. Physics are jank but dedicated. Dumped all my currency on accessories that don't even boost stats they just change the post-battle poses. That's a good investment.

Exploring the new Mysterious Island area I found a side quest where you deliver a letter and end up in a tent with three bunny-type Pussymon and no, it's not a team stacking bonus. The UI is clunky as hell, I fat fingered the flee button and missed out on a hidden variant that glows purple. I yelled. The furry tag is strong here, if you don't like snouts and tails maybe stick to the human NPC scenes. I need a cigarette and I don't even smoke. The cheat manager is locked behind the special edition which is a dick move but I get it, art takes funding.
