There's this one scene early on where you, as some kind of guiding entity, first make contact with him. The screen gets this grainy filter and the vibration feedback on my laptop's trackpad actually synced up, a low buzz that crawled up my fingers. I almost slammed the screen shut. For a Renpy title that looks like it was rendered on a toaster from 2014, that moment landed. The sex scenes have that same uncanny valley problem. Bodies clip through the bedsheets. A hand phases through a thigh during what's supposed to be a heavy petting moment. But the sound design, fuck. The wet noises are mixed way too high, and the voice acting, when it's there, is just breathy enough to make you forget the janky 3d models for a second. You're supposed to be saving humanity or whatever, but I kept picking the "path of pleasure" options just to see how far the physics engine would break. It broke a lot.
