I don't know what I expected from a game where a death goddess visits a demon prison to, uh, relieve tensions. The UPN is one of those projects that wears its jank like a badge of honor. You're controlling Crania, this pale goth goddess type, and she's basically doing charity work for horny demons. The whole setup feels like someone's fever dream after binging too much adult animation and forgetting to sleep.
The controls are... something. WASD moves the camera, scroll wheel zooms, and Q lets you actually walk around. E interacts with pose zones and doors. The face changing with number keys 1 through 6 is genuinely unsettling sometimes, like watching a mannequin cycle through expressions. 0 resets her face back to default, which I needed after accidentally leaving her stuck on what I can only describe as "surprised constipation." The yellow and white drop icons for pee and lactation are just there, no buildup, no context, just bodily functions on demand. It's the kind of mechanical honesty you don't see in polished games.
The demo's free but the full version apparently lets you pick between two girls including a pregnant Crania, record videos, earn money for accessories and toys. Which sounds like a whole management sim layered on top of whatever this already is. The dark nuns normally handle this job but Crania's doing it "for fun" and honestly that tells you everything about the tone here. It's not trying to be hot in a traditional way, it's trying to be weird and specific and kind of gross. The graphics have that unpolished indie 3D look where everything's slightly off but in a way that loops back around to being memorable. I kept clicking the milk icon just to see if it would ever stop. It didn't. Or maybe it does eventually, I got distracted by trying to position the camera at an angle that didn't clip through a wall. The prison setting is just gray corridors and demon silhouettes that don't really do anything in this build, which makes Crania's whole mission feel even more absurd. Like she showed up to a party and nobody else is there yet.
