The first time Jon's mom tells him to fuck off, it's almost funny. Then his sister calls him a waste of skin and the parole officer's already texting about rent money that doesn't exist. Real charmer, this guy. I've played enough VNs where the protagonist is a sad sack to know the drill, but Time Loop Hunter actually commits to it. Your life is a dumpster fire before the alien even shows up.

And the alien does show up. Some brain parasite is turning people into... whatever, the point is you get a time loop device and a mission. Save humanity, fix your shit, maybe get your family to stop hating you. The time travel mechanic is basically your standard rewind and retry, but here's the thing. You're not just solving puzzles. You're rewinding conversations with your mom. You're redoing moments with your sisters. The game knows exactly what it's doing. It's not subtle about the incest angle either, which I respect. No fake build up, no "oh we're not blood related" cop out. Just raw, messy family dynamics mixed with alien invasion nonsense.

The CG scenes are decent, nothing revolutionary but they get the job done. The parasite infection stuff adds a weird body horror layer to the usual hentai tropes. One scene had me genuinely unsure if I was supposed to be horny or disturbed. Probably both. That's the sweet spot.

The writing is rough around the edges, some dialogue feels like it was translated through three different languages. But honestly? It fits. Jon's life is rough. The game should feel a little broken. If it was polished it would lose the charm. Like finding a scratched up porno mag in an abandoned building. You know it's trash but you're still reading it.
