Wet Sand feels like somebody mashed together a half-serious pirate story, a horny monster-girl harem fantasy, and a shitload of point and click moments, then forgot to smooth the edges. You play as Fabian, who kind of stumbles into being captain, and the game never stops reminding you that he’s in over his head but his dick is very much ready for duty. First scene that hooked me was not even a sex one, it was that stupid argument on deck about the map, where you can either be a cocky idiot or pretend you know what you’re doing. If you pick the arrogant option, the girl with the sharper tongue practically undresses you with insults first, then later with her mouth. It’s the way the game links tiny dialog choices to later lewd stuff that got me. One line of banter early, and two chapters later she’s kneeling between your legs in the captain’s cabin, spitting on your cock and calling you “fake captain” while still taking you deep. The animations are rough around the edges sometimes, like the loop hangs on one frame for half a second too long, but it weirdly makes it feel more… handmade? It is not perfect at all, some clicks do nothing, some transitions feel like they skipped a scene, and I wish the UI didn’t hide the hotspot I needed that one time in the cargo hold, but I just ignored it and kept hunting for those secret scenes where the “noble” monster girl stops pretending she is above sucking pirate cock.
