Father Orson’s letter is the first thing you read and already something feels off. Ten silver coins, a fancy title, a promise of brotherhood. Sounds nice. But the priory on Starfall Isle has shadows that don’t come from candlelight. This visual novel drops you into robes of a new scribe, all eager to craft some big magical tome with arcanists who smile too much. The mystery here isn’t loud. It’s in the way a senior monk’s hand lingers on your shoulder during a lesson, or how the Cantor’s eyes follow you across the scriptorium. I got distracted by the bara beefcakes immediately, not gonna lie. Thick arms, broad chests under loose habits, the kind of men who make vows of chastity feel like a personal attack.

The writing has this deliberate roughness, like a manuscript with ink smudges. Typos here and there, some dialogue that clunks. But somehow that makes the horny bits hit harder? There’s a scene where Brother Aldric helps you with a difficult incantation diagram, leaning over your desk, his breath warm on your neck, and the text just sort of stumbles into describing exactly how his robe tightens across his thighs. No smooth transitions. No warning. One moment you’re learning magical theory, next you’re wondering if the priory’s library has a locked section for very specific sins. The game never apologizes for this. Respect.

Wish the mystery paid off better though. Plot threads about the Incantation’s true purpose get mentioned, then abandoned like a half-finished prayer. And the romance paths, while steamy, sometimes feel like the characters forget they’re supposed to be keeping secrets. Still, watching two burly monks wrestle with forbidden desire and actual wrestling, that’s the good stuff. The art isn’t polished but it knows what it’s doing. Every illustration zeroes in on what matters: the curve of a jaw, the sweat on a tonsured scalp, the way candlelight makes roughspun fabric look almost sinful. It’s a messy game. It knows you’re here for the messy parts.

Ok so this game is basically what if a bara wet dream got mashed together with a high school anime and nobody bothered to polish the edges. The Guardian Angel, this ridiculously huge muscle god who's supposed to protect humanity, just shows up at Greatbay Academy like it's normal enrollment day. The whole setup is so stupid I love it.

First pull in the options menu I'm turning off that "Hide Sensitive Subjects" toggle because why would I even be here. The grossdom stuff hits immediately, like zero buildup. One scene the angel dude just grows, and grows, and the perspective shifts and suddenly you're looking up at these sweaty pecs that fill the whole screen while the dialogue is like "oh no I'm so small and pathetic." The writing is pure cheese, reads like someone's very specific fantasy they typed one-handed at 3AM, but honestly that's the charm. The art has that rough indie bara style where anatomy goes out the window when it needs to, muscles bulging in ways that don't make sense but who cares.

The macrophilia content is front and center. Characters literally get the power to grow to "exceptional sizes" and the game does not hold back showing you what that means. There's a scene in the gymnasium that just... I mean the floor cracks and the sound design is this crunchy mess but the visual of this giant foot coming down while the tiny POV character panics? That's the good stuff. Game crashed once during a particularly intense growth sequence, lost my progress, had to skip through text I'd already read. The skip function is slow as hell too, like it's teasing you.

Wish there was more actual gameplay beyond clicking through text. It's barely a visual novel, more like an illustrated story with choices that don't really branch much. But I keep coming back to certain scenes, you know the ones. The angel's introduction where he accidentally outgrows the classroom, desks splintering around his expanding thighs, that image is burned into my brain. For a short indie eroge it delivers exactly what the tags promise, just don't expect anything smooth or polished. The jank is part of the experience.

Game throws you right into this sweaty orc mercenary’s life and never really slows down, in a good and bad way at same time. You are Drok’tar, huge green wall of muscle, chasing a slippery bounty through a small town and the woods around it, while also sort of accidentally fucking half the local population. It has this chunky pixel look that feels like an old GBA game that secretly went to Pornhub and never came back. The engine is light enough that I had it running in Chrome while Discord, Telegram and even Spotify were open, no stutter, not even when there was a full screen of fur, scales and orc cock going on. Firefox gave me slightly worse frame pacing during transitions, like those screen fades hitch a little, which is stupid tiny thing, but it kept poking my brain every time it happened. The dev clearly tuned this for browsers, mouse only works fine, keyboard shortcuts are there, sometimes they work, sometimes they just ignore you like Grindr after you post a face pic. And yeah, I played it on my phone in Kiwi Browser too, the interface shrinks weird but the scenes still hit. Long press to open the log is way too sensitive though. I kept opening it when I only wanted to scroll back one line to re-read some filthy line about knotting.

Story is basically “go around town, ask questions, pick who you want to flirt or just straight up fuck”, but it has this laid back mercenary vibe that fits. One minute you talk about tracking some dragon rumor in the hills, next minute you have your orc pressed against a tavern wall with a horny wolf guy grinding on his thigh. The writing is simple, sometimes awkward, sometimes surprisingly sharp. When Drok’tar calls a cock “payment in kind” I laughed. Then the game hits you with a surprisingly tender scene under the moon with a big furry bastard who pretends to be tough and then whines when you go too slow. There is actual branching in the routes, not huge trees, but enough you can mess up and lock yourself out of some sex if you act like an asshole. I like that the game does not pretend to be subtle: you pick a pushy dialog option, you get shoved to your knees. You pick the gentle one, you end up spooning some huge beastman in a barn. Some transitions between town and forest areas load instant, others clearly trigger more scripting and you feel a tiny hiccup, almost like the engine is checking a dozen flags for who you already blew in the inn. On my laptop with integrated graphics it never dropped inputs though, which matters when you are clicking through a long scene where an orc is getting railed by a smug dragon with a tongue that never stays in his mouth. There is one UI thing that annoyed me way too much: the textbox transparency shifts slightly on certain CGs. Not a big deal, totally not, and yet I kept noticing it more than the cumshots. The sex variety is nice, some scenes are rough pounding, some slower, there is a good amount of male body diversity, lots of chest hair and bellies and thick thighs. Sometimes the animation loops feel a bit short, they cut the thrust cycle at weird frame so it looks like Drok’tar is humping air for half a second, then locking back in, then air again, like a badly synced gif on Telegram. Still, when the big wolf grows out and you see that heavy knot swelling and your orc has to breathe through it, all that small jank suddenly feels pretty charming, almost nostalgic, like when you played those messy flash porn games in a school computer lab and prayed the sound wouldn’t start blasting moans.

Alister drops into this world like he got yanked out of a porn parody of Diablo and dropped into some chaotic queer D&D campaign that never agreed on its tone. One minute he is this smug little demon bastard, flexing his claws and acting like everyone in the room is already on his dick, and the next he is awkward as hell because some half-dressed prince with daddy issues is looking at him a bit too long. The story pretends it wants to be serious fantasy, with kingdoms and shame and magic politics, but every time someone leans in too close, the whole thing slips and you get that “oh, right, this is horny first, plot second” vibe. It feels like being in a Discord server call where half the people are trying to roleplay lore and the rest are typing “make them kiss” in all caps. You just watch this demon get bounced between danger and thirst, and honestly, he looks like he kinda loves both. The game lets you push conversations right up to the line, throw in those flirty choices that sound like a joke but definitely are not a joke, and when Alister starts purring back at someone taller and broader than him, yeah, that is when it clicks what this thing actually wants from you.

The prince, Izaak, is that type of guy who talks like he is better than you but blushes the second someone calls him out, which is extremely funny when you make Alister go straight for his weak points. There is this scene where you are supposed to talk strategy, but the camera and the writing keep hanging on his body, on little shifts of his clothes, and suddenly the “tension” is not about war or whatever anymore. Then you have Alek, the gnome bard, who feels like the token chaotic bi energy of every tabletop group, just in short and horny form. He is the one that keeps poking the situation so it gets weirder, gayer, and a bit more dangerous every time, dropping comments that are one step away from “so, are we all fucking after this or what?” without actually saying it. They move through camps, taverns, and all that standard fantasy stuff, but the real fun is when the game slows down, lets the camera stay on a sweaty neck, a heavy hand on a shoulder, the way Alister’s eyes go half-lidded when someone with a deep voice says his name. You can feel the build-up to the explicit parts even before the clothes start becoming optional, like the script is grinding up against you on purpose.

If you want the most out of it, do not speedrun the dialog like you would in some boring grindy VN. Actually lean into the teasing choices, be a little shameless, push every flirty option even if it sounds like the “wrong” one. This game rewards you for being a horny menace. Let Alister act like the cocky bottom he is clearly dying to be, poke at Izaak’s pride until it snaps, and never skip a campfire chat, because that is where the heat usually leaks out first. Keep your hand off the skip button, keep your mind in the gutter, and just ride every scene until it is wrung dry. You will know you are doing it right when the “serious” fantasy quest just starts feeling like an excuse to get these idiots alone in smaller and smaller rooms.
