Charlie’s whole situation here is ridiculous in the best, stupidest way. You got this guy just trying to sleep while an entire monster city is literally powered by sex screams, and somehow he ends up being the one fixing their porn problems. That already hooked me, because my brain is fried from work and kids and grocery apps, and suddenly I’m watching these fucked-up cartoonish monsters worrying about “scream output” like it’s an office KPI. The humor is very dumb, lots of dirty jokes and stupid wordplay, and I liked it. Or maybe I hated it. No, I liked it. I think.
