I keep clicking through the dialogue and the skip button is right there, big and obvious, like the dev knew half of us just want the good stuff. City Hunters. What a mess. The future is neon smeared across a dirty window and everyone’s got cybernetic bits hanging out. The art looks like someone splattered CG renders onto a canvas and then rubbed some of it off with a thumb. Deliberately unpolished, yeah, but it works. It feels like a fever dream I had after scrolling through a certain booru site for three hours.

The plot is something about a ruined planet and hunters, I think. I read the first few text boxes, something about a girl with a gun and a bad attitude, then I just started hammering the skip button. Found a scene with her and some tentacle thing in an alley. The anatomy is all wrong, limbs bending where they shouldn’t, but the wet sounds they describe in the text are nasty in the best way. There’s another scene with a different hunter, a redhead, getting double teamed by two guys with metal arms. The writing for that one is surprisingly filthy, like the translator just gave up on being polite and let the filth flow. I wish the sound effects were more than just a looping wet squelch, but they won’t be.

About ten scenes total. I found seven before I got bored and closed the tab. The visual novel part is bare bones, just static images that change expression sometimes. The scifi setting is just an excuse for glowing tattoos and weird dicks, which is fine. I was playing this on my laptop while waiting for a render in Blender to finish, and the whole thing crashed my browser once. Not the game’s fault, probably, but it added to the whole grimy experience. The fantastic tag is a lie, it’s just hentai logic. One minute you’re talking about a bounty, the next a girl is getting her circuits fried by a monster with three tongues. No transition. I forgot what I was talking about. The replay value is just clicking through to see the scenes you missed, which is what the gallery mode is for, I guess. It’s a splatter of ideas, some hit, most miss, but the ones that hit leave a stain.

The title alone, "Don't call me Pillowfucker", is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. And the game knows it. Tommy is a loser, his sister tells him so, and then he builds a device. That's the setup. No fancy intro, no lore dump. You click, you read, occasionally a choice pops up. The whole thing feels like someone slapped together Ren'Py assets and said "good enough" and honestly? For this kind of serialized smut, that's the right call.

The humor is the main draw. It's that specific brand of self-aware geek irony where the protagonist's patheticness is the joke, but you're also kind of rooting for him because the alternative is just... sad. The device is never really explained, which is fine, because the point is what it does to the women around him. The sister character is particularly mean, and the writing leans into that meanness with a weird affection. There's a moment where she's mid-insult and the device kicks in, and the tonal shift is so abrupt it almost gave me whiplash. Almost.

The pacing is like a party where someone keeps changing the music. One minute it's awkward family dinner, next minute it's a full on fantasy sequence with a hot comics girl. Then back to the sister being a bitch. Then a cliffhanger ending that made me actually say "fuck off" out loud because it just stops. No resolution, no aftercare, just a "to be continued" that feels less like a promise and more like a threat.

Sound design is basically nonexistent, which is probably for the best. No voice acting, no music I remember. Just the click of the mouse and the occasional squishy sound effect that made me wonder if my headphones were broken.

Three eggplants for effort and the genuinely funny dialogue, one sploosh for the explicit content which is there but feels almost rushed, and one shrug because I still don't know if I liked it or if it just scratched a very specific itch. The "serial" tag is doing a lot of work here. First episode free, rest probably behind a paywall, classic move. Would I play episode two? Maybe. If I'm bored and hate myself a little.

The route tracker in my head says there are 14 monster encounters, but I only found 12 before the loop reset. That bugged me for a whole evening. You pick a planet, you get a scene, sometimes a branching choice that changes the position or the dialogue. The furry tag is doing heavy lifting here because half the aliens are just wolf guys with glowing dicks. The sci-fi setting is basically a coat of paint over a monster fucker sim.

What surprised me was the hentai logic. Like, the tentacle beast from sector 7 has a whole mini game where you have to match the rhythm of its thrusts or you lose arousal meter. I failed it three times and got a bad end where the character just falls asleep. Who designs that? The fantasy tag shows up in the dragon girl route, which is actually the most detailed one. Her wings clip through the bed model constantly. I counted seven separate clipping moments in one scene. Unpolished is the word, but not in a charming way, more like the dev ran out of time.

The unlockables are weirdly specific. There is a gallery mode but it only shows 60 percent of the CGs you have seen. The rest are hidden behind a code you get from finishing the secret ending, which I still have not triggered. Maybe it needs a specific order of planets. I tried Mars then Europa then the asteroid belt, nothing. The monster designs are inconsistent too. One is a detailed dragon with scales, the next is a flat colored blob with eyes. It feels like two different artists worked on it and never talked.

I would give it an award for Most Confusing Arousal Mechanics. Not because it is good, but because I kept playing to see what broke next. The sex scenes are explicit enough, no fade to black, but the text is machine translated in places. One line said "your hole is accepting the destiny" and I laughed so hard I lost my erection. That is not a complaint exactly. Just a fact.
