Looked like a glitch. Just a bunch of low poly lumps that clipped right through my character model. The whole ordeal lasted like fifteen seconds and then booted me back to the start of the floor. No fanfare, just "get fucked loser" in game mechanics form. You respawn with less health. The maze doesn't randomize. I spent way too long checking if the water fountain's effect was a fixed number. It's not. It's temperamental. I have notes. I'm not showing them.
