Summoners Quest, part 8. Yeah, eight. That's a lot of story, and this one doesn't hold your hand. You're dropped right into the middle of a big saga, and if you haven't played the others, good luck figuring out who's fucking who and why that floating crystal is so damn important. The writing is... look, it's a parody, so sometimes it's clever and sometimes it's just a horny mess, but that's the charm, right? The sex scenes are the real meat here, and they're explicit as hell. One moment you're reading a wall of text about some ancient prophecy, the next you're balls deep in a sorceress because you chose to "investigate the strange noise" instead of "consult the map." And that's the thing, the choices actually matter, even when they feel like they don't.

I picked what I thought was a throwaway line just to be a dick, and it locked me out of a whole threesome with a demon queen and her, uh, tentacle... pet? Familiar? Whatever. The game says "some of your choices might seem like they're not making any difference but they are!" and that's not just a tag, it's a threat. The art is that classic, unpolished hentai style where the anatomy makes sense only when it needs to, if you catch my drift. Sometimes a tit looks like a water balloon filled with regret, other times it's perfectly shaded and you're like, "Ah, that's where the artist's passion went."

The whole thing runs in a browser, so don't expect any fancy animations. It's a visual novel, pure and simple. Click, read, get hard, make a choice, get a different ending. There's a weird satisfaction in replaying a section just to see what happens if you're not a total simp. Or if you are. The story is so sprawling at this point that a character will mention something from part 3 and you just have to nod along, pretending you remember. But honestly, you're not here for the lore. You're here to see the elf get railed over a magical altar because you chose to share your rations. And on that front, it delivers.
