Sophia’s story hits you like pulling the Tower card in Tarot when you expected the Lovers. On the surface you see this polished, classy middle-aged woman, nice blouse, nice ass, all polite smile and teacher energy, but underneath the cards are already screaming “temptation” and “bad ideas in tight skirts”. She shows up in this sunny coastal city, walking through her huge new house, the camera basically worshipping her curves while her husband talks about schedules and career and all that shit you immediately forget because the game makes you watch how her dress hugs her hips when she leans over the balcony. The whole thing feels like a slow ritual that keeps asking her, and you too: how far is too far, and do we even care.

The first scene that stuck in my head is so simple it almost feels stupid. She’s alone in the bedroom, warm light from the window, she thinks nobody can see her. She changes clothes, tries on this tight dress that is absolutely not “teacher appropriate”, and just looks at herself in the mirror for a long time. No coy bullshit, the camera just follows her hands when she slowly cups her own tits, a bit shy, a bit hungry. You can make her stop, or you let her fingers slide lower, and suddenly this “good wife” is touching herself while the neighbor’s house is right there outside the window. There is this moment where she glances to the side and you know she is imagining somebody watching. It felt almost like the High Priestess card flipped over, secrets starting to leak into the open. I liked it. Or I didn’t. I can’t decide. Actually I loved it, I’m just pretending to have standards.

What makes it funny, and kind of fucked up, is how the game keeps throwing people at her who all see a different version of Sophia. At school, the younger girls look at her like a role model, but there is that one curious student who stares too long at her cleavage and you see the option to lean forward just a little bit more while explaining homework. Not a huge thing. Tiny choice, blink and you miss it. But then later this same girl shows up in tight jeans and you realize the door you opened is not closing again. There is also this shower scene after a long day, hot water running over her big tits and soft belly, and you can tell she is exhausted and horny at the same time. She starts slow, careful, almost guilty. The moment she pushes two fingers inside and whispers “I shouldn’t”, my brain just shouted: that’s the Justice card laughing at you, honey. Somewhere in the house her husband is probably sending emails while she’s moaning softly and trying not to say another woman’s name out loud.

I keep thinking about that rooftop scene too, where she ends up half drunk with another woman, wind tugging at their dresses, the city spread out below like some kind of open mouth. They lean on the railing, boobs pressed together by accident, or maybe not accident at all, and the conversation starts innocent, then slips into flirting, then into full sexual tension so thick you can cut it. You can decide if Sophia pulls back, like a good wife, or if she lets this woman’s hand stay on her thigh a little too long. When that kiss finally happens, soft and a bit clumsy, the game doesn’t rush. Lips, breath, the little nervous laugh after. For a second you believe she is in love, and then you remember she still wears her wedding ring. It’s such a dirty feeling, like pulling the Lovers and the Devil in the same spread. And what really annoys me, for no real reason, is that one useless framed picture in the hallway that looks awful and you keep seeing it in the background of these hot scenes and I just want it gone, but of course it stays. Maybe that is the real curse of the whole thing.
