Right so the gorgon sisters are storming actual Hell now. Athena's Revenge picks up after Euryale's Gambit and just throws you into a demon portal with Stheno, Euryale, and this demon lord Ashmedai who I honestly forgot existed until he showed up again. The succubus queen Igret Bat Mahlat opens the way and suddenly you're fighting through hordes of demons with a weird guy named Aden who's probably not what he seems. The whole trilogy has been building to this and the game knows it, the tension is thick enough to cut with a... something sharp.

The sex scenes are where this thing really goes off the rails in the best way. Monster girls everywhere, futa content if you want it, and the harem elements from previous games finally pay off. There's this one scene with a demoness that has the most ridiculous ass I've seen in a 3DCG game and the animation actually does it justice. The oral scenes are surprisingly well framed too, which is rare when everyone has giant tits getting in the way. But then the game throws in sexual harassment sequences that feel weirdly out of place given how powerful the protagonists are supposed to be. Like, you're literally invading Hell to rescue Athena and some random demon grunt is getting handsy? The power fantasy breaks a little there.

The violence though. Graphic doesn't even cover it. The combat sequences have this raw brutality that the sex scenes sometimes lack, which is a weird thing to say about a porn game but here we are. Athena imprisoned in the Demonic Citadel, the Demon Lords closing in, and you're cutting through their armies like butter. The final confrontation has some genuinely surprising moments that I won't spoil but let's just say the trilogy ends with a bang. Multiple bangs actually. The lesbian content between the gorgon sisters feels more natural here than in Euryale's Gambit, probably because they've actually developed as characters across three games.
