The succubus route is basically a broken mess and I'm kind of obsessed with it. That one house in the village where you can just... stand there and the boy NPC does something. I won't spoil it but my jaw dropped. Not because it's some AAA animation spectacular, it's literally a few pixels and a text box, but the audacity of hiding that in plain sight. No quest marker, no hint. You just bump into furniture and suddenly you're in a scene that feels like it was coded at 4am by someone who stopped caring about polish and started caring about raw id. The whole game is like that, this deliberately crusty RPG Maker looking thing where the catgirl companion blinks with the energy of a jpeg from 2004 and the dialogue reads like it was translated through three languages then back into English by a horny ghost.
I spent twenty minutes trying to interact with a pot. A pot. It didn't do anything. But the fact that you CAN press enter on random objects and sometimes the game remembers to give you a line of text, that's the charm. It's not smooth. The movement with arrow keys feels like wading through syrup and clicking text boxes is a gamble because sometimes the hitbox just says nah. And yet. The succubus design, the way her sprite just... exists in this weird fantasy world where nothing makes sense, it's more effective than half the overproduced visual novels I've deleted off my hard drive after five minutes. There's a secret interaction with some boy that I'm still not sure was intentional or a bug that became canon.
The Patreon link is right there begging for support and honestly, if the creator leans harder into this unhinged energy, I might bite. Not for polish. God no. For more of whatever that village scene was. The neko version is apparently a separate link which is such a chaotic way to distribute a game, I respect it. It's like finding a sticky note with a treasure map in a public bathroom. The whole thing feels like a private joke that accidentally went public and I'm here for the sequel where maybe that pot actually does something.
