Champion of I: Luxuria feels like someone mashed up a horny tabletop campaign with one of those old browser RPGs you used to sneak at school, then said, “ok, but what if literally everyone wanted to fuck or kill you, sometimes both in the same scene.” You’re this Guardian dropped into Eden, all big heroic title and zero safety net, and the game really likes to remind you that your dick is not separate from your decisions. One moment you’re picking a tactical skill in a tight turn based fight, counting mana and HP like a tryhard, next moment you’re staring at a futa monster girl asking if you want her cock in your mouth or your ass, and the dialogue box is like “this will have consequences” and you’re sitting there thinking, “yeah, that’s kind of the point.” It has that slow, text heavy pace, like a VN fucked an RPGMaker project, so if you expect quick swipes and done, nah, this wants you to sit with it, read it, and sometimes suffer because you said yes to the wrong pair of tits three scenes ago. The world is proper dark fantasy too, not just “ooh edgy,” like, you can feel that the gods are assholes, the land hates you, and half the cast has trauma kink without calling it that. There is actual combat, not just click-next porn, and it can smack you if you tunnel vision on the lewd path and forget to build your kit. The app I had it open next to was fucking Discord, and I kept alt tabbing to yell “I just lost a fight because I chose the blowjob dialog” at a friend who didn’t even know what game I meant. The writing swings hard between surprisingly deep “what is good and evil” stuff and “get on your knees and swallow,” which I liked and also kinda hated, because sometimes I just wanted to nut and instead got a whole speech about chaos and souls.
