Chasing Memories feels like someone smashed a horny Pokémon clone, a trashy fantasy light novel, and a half-broken sandbox RPG into one browser tab and said, yeah, this is fine. You wake up with no memories, which sounds dramatic, but in practice it just means you can shamelessly hit on every woman and monster girl you meet without needing an excuse. One scene you’re pretending to care about the mystery of your past, next scene you’re getting a slow, teasing handjob from a smug fox girl who “only does this to relax your mind.” Sure. Totally the***. I was running Discord, Telegram, and the game side by side, trying to answer messages, and every time I alt-tabbed back I had another horny line of dialogue waiting, like the game was judging my attention span. The best part is how it swings between goofy and brutal without asking permission: you’re flirting with a slime girl, she’s all bouncy boobs and playful jiggles, then in combat her animated attack literally splashes into you with this wet sound, and a few encounters later some other monster is getting her torso ripped open in a graphic finish if you decide to play rough. It tries to be sweet and romantic, then casually throws graphic violence on the screen like “anyway, back to the harem.”
The turn-based combat really is Pokémon-brain fuel, but horny. Every monster girl has her own little animated moves, some cute as hell, some actually kind of fucked up. One uses a “charm” style skill that lowers your stats while she strokes your cock with slow loops, the animation lingering way longer than it needs to, and if the status effect lands, your character basically becomes a useless, throbbing mess for a few turns. Another one goes full murder mode with claws and blood, and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to fuck her or run. The sandbox style stuff is messy in a good way, too: you wander into a dungeon, get a random encounter, maybe it’s just a boring fight, maybe it’s a special girl with a full animated sex scene if you pick the right choices. I got lost in one cave for like twenty minutes just because I wanted to see if the bat girl would actually sit on my face if I picked the most reckless dialogue, and yes, she did, with looping vaginal riding that synced with the battle-style sound effects in this weirdly satisfying way. The harem angle is strong but also kind of trashy, in that mobile-game ad way, which I liked and hated at the same time. Sometimes the AI-generated CG looks amazing, like fantasy porn art you’d save to a hidden folder, and sometimes the proportions are cursed and her hand looks like it belongs to another body, but by the time she’s grinding on your dick and moaning through another animated loop you kind of stop caring. It’s an adventure that pretends to be about chasing your past, but really it’s about chasing the next scene where some monster girl wraps her thighs around you and squeezes until you can’t think about anything else.
