Claire hits this big nameless city like every small town girl who watched too many movies and believed them a little too hard. She wants that actress life, the lights, the casting couches, the fucked up directors who tell her “you’re perfect for this role” with their eyes on her tits instead of her face. And you just sit there on your screen, watching her stumble into all this mess, poking at choices that feel like nudging a drunk friend toward either the bar or the bad decision guy in the corner. It starts all sweet and harmless, like, “aww, she’s chasing her dream,” then two clicks later you’re quietly hoping she says yes to some sketchy “private audition” in a hotel room that absolutely doesn’t look like any real agency office. The game pretends it’s romantic sometimes, with soft music and cheesy dates and all that, but the whole time you feel this little tension like, ok, who’s lying to who here.
The sex stuff feels like it grew naturally out of shit decisions, not just “oh, it’s sex scene time now.” Claire goes to one casting, the guy asks for “more emotion,” suddenly her shirt is on the floor and you’re watching her trying to convince herself this is professional. Her boobs are huge, by the way, but not in a cartoon way that breaks your brain. More in this “Instagram model who got too many sponsors” way. The camera loves them. Sometimes too much. There’s a scene in her crappy apartment, cheap couch, takeout box on the table, she’s on a video call with some producer, and he tells her to stand up and turn around. You’re just there, clicking the option to let him record it, even though she clearly hesitates. That moment hit me harder than all the normal VN stuff. Felt wrong. Felt hot. Felt like both at the same time, which is kind of the whole game, honestly. Half romance, half “wow, that was basically cheating and I still clicked it.”
What got me hooked was all the voyeur-y bits. You don’t just see what Claire does, you see her being watched. Hidden cams in an agency office, that little red light in the corner of the screen that you sort of forget about, then later some creep shows her a recording of her getting railed and uses it to push her into more. There’s one balcony scene where she’s having “normal” sex with this guy who actually seems to care about her, soft kisses, nice words, all that Netflix couple energy, and the camera slowly pulls back to some neighbor with binoculars. That shit made me pause and stare like, ok, I’m technically the neighbor here too. Game loves putting you in that dirty spectator spot. You help guide Claire into romance, sure, but also into cheating on the one guy who treats her like a human, into fucking for roles, into weird situations where she’s half performing, half actually turned on. It’s messy, it’s uneven, sometimes the dialogue makes you roll your eyes, sometimes it hits way too close to those stories you scroll past on Twitter and pretend you didn’t see. But you keep clicking, because watching this girl try to balance dreams, love, and her own horny curiosity in a city that eats people like her for breakfast is way more addictive than it has any right to be.
