Clutch Time looks like one of those projects where the dev clearly spends more time thinking about tits than tooltips, and honestly I kinda respect it. You play this sports prodigy guy who hates sports, which already makes him feel like that dude in class who can dunk from the free throw line but would rather sit in the back jerking off to TikTok booty compilations. The story starts slow, very “college slice of life”, with you moving around this school setting, meeting people, trying not to act like a total creep while the camera keeps lovingly zooming in on big asses and tight tops. The funny thing is, half the time the game pretends it’s all deep and emotional, then the next click you’ve got a girl with huge tits bending over a desk and your brain just shuts off like, yeah ok, I’m here for this now.
What I did like is that it actually feels like a dating sim and not a clicking simulator. Choices matter in that annoying way where you pick the “funny” line because you think she’ll like humor and suddenly your romance points go down and you’re locked out of a handjob scene. I thought teasing her during practice would be cute, but no, she got pissed and then the animated scene later just didn’t trigger. I even tried rolling back, but Ren’Py’s skip decided to zoom past the flag point and I had to replay a chunk. And yet, when it finally works, the payoff is hot. The animated scenes are surprisingly juicy for a casual project: slow strokes, boobs bouncing while she rides you, that kind of “I should not be this invested” energy. There’s a masturbation scene early where the MC is in his room, phone in hand, pausing on some girl’s selfie and just going at it, and it felt way more real than it needed to be. Like yeah, that’s exactly how horny college guys act when nobody’s home.
The whole foster family angle is weirdly soft and sweet, like the game wants you to have feelings before it slaps your dick with more fanservice. You get this warm vibe from breakfast chats, then your brain short-circuits because one of them shows up later in a tight outfit at the campus and the camera is basically shoving her tits in your face. I was half expecting some cheesy romance flag, but instead you get this awkward “oh, hey, how is college?” while you try not to stare at the jiggle. The humor hits and misses. Sometimes the MC drops a dumb meme line that actually made me laugh, other times it feels like the dev discovered Reddit in 2018 and never left. Still, the whole “sports genius who hates sports” thing gives you a lot of chances to be an asshole or a sweetheart with people, and that affects who lets you get close. You flirt, you text, you pick who to sit with at lunch, and yeah, eventually you’re grabbing big asses, squeezing big tits, and watching them bounce in those 3dcg scenes while pretending you care about character development. Just don’t expect every horny choice to work out; this game will absolutely blueball you for picking the wrong line five minutes earlier and you’ll sit there, pants half down, wondering where you fucked up in life.
