Vampires here are not the sparkly Tumblr type, more like the “I’ll ruin your life and then make you beg for more” kind. The game drops you in this city that feels half modern, half old cursed shit left to rot, and tells you: pick your poison. You can be this pissed-off guy or a pissed-off girl, both with a very personal grudge, and the story doesn’t waste time with long romance build up. It’s revenge mixed with hunger, and both are ugly. One moment you’re walking into a club chasing a lead, next moment you’ve got some asshole pressed against a bathroom wall, his breath shaking because he realizes you can snap his neck or make him suck you off and forget his own name. And sometimes you do both. There is a lot of that twisted power fantasy vibe: mindfucking people, literally and mentally, bending them until they’re drooling toys that still think they made the choice themselves.
What makes it feel different is how it keeps flipping whether you’re the predator, the victim, or both at same time. You start thinking you’re the cool monster on top, then the story throws you naked and chained in a cellar, gag in your mouth, ribs bruised from some psycho hunter’s boots. They tie you up, slap you around, spit in your face, treat you like meat, and you can see they’re getting hard or wet from watching you struggle.
