Halloween in this thing feels less like horror and more like that weird school trip where everybody’s horny and pretending not to be. You’re this guy stuck in a small guesthouse up in cold-ass Norway, surrounded by fluffy dudes who look cute as hell but also make you think “ok, I’d totally let him rail me against that frosty window.” The game pretends to be about “science camp” and “personal growth” but after a while it’s just you choosing which furry guy you want to cuddle, kiss, or lowkey grind on in the dark while someone tells a ghost story that no one actually listens to. I liked that it’s not all sex at once, it sort of teases you with long conversations, small touches, awkward silences, those moments where you pick a dialogue option and immediately regret it like in Tinder chat when you hit send too fast. At the same time I was screaming at my screen because scenes take their sweet time to get spicy and my dick has less patience than my brain. The Halloween angle gives a nice excuse for costumes, fake scares and people getting a bit too close on purpose, “because I got scared.” Sure bro, sure.

What really got me was one specific night scene with the wind hitting the windows, lights low, and you’re sharing a blanket with one of the guys on a couch that’s too small for two people. Your leg brushes his, you can pull away or push a little more, and suddenly the energy shifts from “haha we’re just watching a movie” to “I’m painfully aware how hard I am in these sweatpants.” The text doesn’t spell out every detail but your mind fills the gaps and that makes it hotter than some games where they show everything in your face. I still wish there were more explicit payoffs in this Halloween thing, because you get all this slow build, all the flirting, the tail flicks, the ears twitching, the guy blushing when your hand stays on his thigh too long, and then sometimes the scene ends right when you’re ready to slam Alt+Tab and open Pornhub. It feels intentional, like teasing on purpose. Annoying. Hot. Both. I had this moment where I picked the slightly bolder option in a conversation, the dude leaned closer, his breath described as warm against your cheek, and I was like “ok, kiss now, come on,” but the game makes you sit in that tension, which is kind of realistic because real life is exactly that stupid. Romance is messy, horny, slow, confusing and funny at the same time, and this game nails that feeling of being trapped in a too-small space with too much sexual tension and way too many opportunities to say the wrong thing. It’s cozy, frustrating, a bit wholesome, a bit filthy in your head even when the screen stays mostly clean, and at some point I stopped trying to figure out if I wanted more porn or more cuddles and just kept clicking to see who would finally break first.
