I keep thinking about the menu screen. Not the characters, not the scenes. The menu. It looks like someone built it in a free app they downloaded, used once, and forgot to update. The font choices are... a choice. And somehow that's perfect? Like reading a doujinshi where the artist clearly learned anatomy from other doujinshi, this whole thing has that recursive energy. High School DxD already operates on a logic where clothes dissolve and every woman in a ten mile radius eventually orbits the protagonist, so a parody that looks like it was assembled in a weekend feels almost philosophical. It's not breaking immersion because there was never any immersion to break.
The roster is absurd. You get everyone. Grayfia, Rias, Akeno, Xenovia, Koneko, and like fifteen others I'm forgetting. The sprites are 2D, static, and sometimes their expressions don't change when you'd expect them to. There's a moment with Kuroka where she's supposed to be mid-action but her face is just... neutral. Like she's reading a grocery list. It's the funniest thing in the game and I don't think it's intentional. Anal content is there if you want it, straightforward and mechanical. Click, click, scene. No buildup, no tension. Just transaction. Which, honestly, fits the source material's approach to intimacy better than anything "polished" would.
The male protagonist is a void. A complete non-entity. He exists to be the point of view and nothing else. In some scenes with Irina and Le Fay, the dialogue loops back on itself in ways that suggest the script was written in sections and never proofread as a whole. You'll get the same phrase twice in three lines. It's like watching someone try to remember a dream while telling it to you. I wish the sound design wasn't just... nothing. Complete silence except for my own breathing and the occasional mouse click. Makes the whole experience feel furtive in a way that's less "erotic game" and more "filing taxes at midnight." The 2DCG art is what it is. Some renders are genuinely nice, others look like they were compressed through a potato. Yubelluna's hair in one scene has visible artifacts around the edges and I stared at it for way too long.
